Our location simply can’t be beat here in town. Perched on a hill, overlooking Pigeon Forge, Whispering Pines is located in the heart of town, between lights 7 and 8 on the Parkway. Those familiar with Pigeon Forge know that info means easy access to all of the main attractions, shopping areas and restaurants in town. We are also only about 16 minutes from The Great Smoky Mountain National Park entrance. This is the area where Dolly Parton grew up and as a hometown girl, she has some amazing attractions for visitors to the Smokies to enjoy. Her Dollywood Theme Park is always a great option and it is not solely for the roller coaster enthusiasts. Visitors to the park can take in shows that range from comedy, gospel, bluegrass and more or shop til you drop. Dollywood offers an enormous amount of retail shopping areas throughout the park. Dolly also has two dinner shows in Pigeon Forge that attract people from all over. Her two shows, Stampede DinDolly’sner Show and Dolly Parton’s Pirates Voyage Dinner Show are huge hits among tourists and many see it year after year. Other great things to do in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg include Rowdy Bear Mountain, Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies, WonderWorks and the Titanic museum.
